ONE - Campaign to make poverty history.  Made popular by celebrities such as Bono.  Though it relates to poverty, other issues are covered as connected to poverty such as AIDS, underdevelopment, and education.  There are many different links on this site, including info about solutions.
Doctors without Borders (Medecins sans frontiers) - A medical humanitarian program with health workers around the world.  The site allows you to search health related issues including AIDS, malnutrition, malaria, and refugees
Aid for Africa - Over 50 charities under one umbrella.  This complete list of the member NGOs connects you to individual charities dealing with a variety of humanitarian issues.  The list gives a brief summary of each charity’s purpose and projects
