Dual Language Program
A Dual Language Vision at Highland Park High School in Township High School District 113
The aim of the Dual Language Program is to provide a world class education where children will become bilingual and biliterate in Spanish and English while developing an understanding and an appreciation of all cultures.
Bilingual learners should not be viewed as two monolingual learners in one but rather one who draws upon each language system to make sense of and connect to the other.
