This handbook is designed to assist Highland Park High School students and their parents during the college search and application process. Although it contains a great deal of information it should be only one of multiple tools used throughout the process. Families are encouarged to take advantage of the many resources available through Highland Park High School.
College Counseling Handbook
MaiaLearning is an on-line guidance management system that collects, organizes, and analyzes detailed information about student’s post-secondary plans to help students and families make well informed decisions. In addition to offering four-year academic planning, MaiaLearning offers a wide variety of career matching, research, and planning tools. The program also contains a variety of features that enhance the college search, selection, and application process, including historical information on how past HPHS grads have fared at colleges and universities across the country.
